Annoying Things About Beetlejuice Fan Fiction

I know what you're going to say, I've been posting a lot of Beetlejuice related stuff on here. And you'd be right. I'm not even in a Beetlejuice mood. Honestly, I just had this picture to use:

I was going to say something along the lines in my original post that friendship with spirits is an important thing. Then I got to thinking about my old Fan Fiction days. Yes. I used to be one of those nerds that wrote Fan Fiction, but I only did two stories. One was a crossover of Beetlejuice and Nightmare Before Christmas (a shocking fact about what happened to those stories will come in another post) and another was a crossover of Batman and Hellboy (which did okay, but I deleted it after someone said they didn't like it ... at all. Honestly, I only deleted it because I agreed with him, not because of my thin skinned problem.)

The thing about my Beetlejuice fan fiction is that I went more with the movie-verse than the cartoon, which is the norm of everyone else's Fan Fiction. And, unlike myself, everyone else ALWAYS, ALWAYS had to make Beetlejuice and Lydia a couple. They also ALWAYS had to morph Beetlejuice into a fucking pansy too. Crying and weeping cause he couldn't be more than friends with Lydia. Boo-freakity-hoo! Terrible stuff. There was only a few Beetlejuice fan fictions I actually gave a damn about. The rest was the same old same old, always pertaining to the masses who wanted them to be a couple.

It really annoyed me to be honest.

Granted, I would be lying if I said Lydia isn't my dream girl, because I've said in previous posts on here that she is and she really is my dream woman. But I've always felt her and BJ's relationship should be strictly platonic and nothing more. I mean, I could see Beetlejuice looking through the mirror in Lydia's room, trying to get a quick peek at her goodies when she got older. Hell, if Lydia was willing, I bet they would do the monster mash. But that's only logical. Beetlejuice is after all the biggest perve in not only the movie-verse but the cartoon verse as well.

I guess I don't care that people do fan fictions and try to make Beetlejuice and Lydia a couple. But to do it all the time? People like a variety when reading and that goes double when writing about already created characters.

There are mysteries to this, but the biggest one is: why did I even make this blog post? Why did I actually put a lot of thought into this? I haven't the foggiest clue as to why either. I guess I just felt like bitching and when I saw this photo, my old Fan Fiction days came up. So, there you go.
