Elvira is a character played by Cassandra Petterson, which if you look at this photo above and Cassandra, it seems like night and day. Above you see a dark, mysterious, seductive bombshell and her real self, you see someone who looks like an ordinary soccer mom. She is currently 61 years old and age hasn't seemed to get to her yet and she treats it like a number. You got to admire her for that. But a lot in the paranormal community admire her for being the Mistress of the Dark. Cassandra has been acting since the 70's, but she first started out as Elvira in her own show called Elvira's Movie Macabre. It showed B grade horror movies and she would interrupt from time to time to chat with the viewers. The show lasted for a few years from 1981 to 1986. It had a re launch in 2010 as well.
I would like to welcome Elvira into Scared Sheetless' Madam Mortuary. I'm sure she's thrilled! She'll probably never know ;-)
