9/11

It's a day late, I know, but I've been busy prepping for a big cookout at my house which takes place tomorrow. But I would feel bad if I didn't take the time to remember those who lost their lives and for those who lost loved ones on that tragic day. The sad part is we live in a society where they are no boundaries and people feel comfortable making fun of that day. To those people I would like to call them selfish, heartless, pricks. Grow up, idiots. Tragedies are not meant to be made of, there made to be remembered and pray or wish that they never happen again.

The thing about 9/11 or any other specific tragedy that we have lived through, is we can remember the day almost perfectly. And 9/11 is a day that I will remember until the day I die. Even if I go senile, which is already happening in my 20's! I've talked about 9/11 in the past on this website, so I don't need to go into specific details of what happened that day, but what I can tell you is that night seemed like everyone in America, no matter what color, size, sexual orientation, whatever that you are, we were all one. And it's too bad, now looking at how bullying is now, that it takes a tragic event of 9/11 size to bring us all together. We should be doing that anyways, without a tragic event.

People hope for redemption against those who did it, but most who did have their hand it in are already dead. Now just hope for peace, but apparently peace is too boring.

I just wish those who were around then and even those who came after, will remember that this is a day for remembering those we lost and not a day for mocking.
