Personal Opinion: Poor Wittle Kayne

I HATE pop culture. I don't get into at all. But reading the article above actually pissed me off enough to write about it.

I'm not even a Beck fan (granted, the only Beck stuff I've heard was on an episode of Futurama), but the guy won. Deal with it. Tenacious D won over Anthrax, Slipknot, Mastodon, and Motorhead for best METAL performance, but I'm dealing with it (even though I think it's bullshit). But Kayne is saying the award should have gone to Beyonce simply because HE felt her album was better just shows his arrogance. Dude, you don't speak for everybody. Especially me.

Art is subjective. It depends on the person. I love my music to be hard rock and metal. To me, that music is art. I know a lot will not agree with me, but I'm fine with it. Why? I know that music is subjective. So, Kayne doesn't speak for everybody. He may think he's God, but he's not my God.

I'd hate Kayne even more if he was pissed Beck won strictly because he's white. Notice how in his little rant he never once mentioned that Beck is an artist or a musician. Or, hey no disrespect to Beck, but Kayne felt Beyonce should take it. No. There was none of that at all. It's just Kayne thinking he's the smartest man in the world. Sorry, dude, but you're not. The general, SMART population, knows you're without a shout of a doubt the dumbest prick in the music industry. The only reason why people like you is the dumb follow the dumb.

Like I said, I don't listen to Beck. His music and especially Kayne's music doesn't speak to me. Yeah, Kayne. What's that make me? Out of touch? I'd rather be out of touch than to be consumed by your bullshit. It's funny, because in the article he names his three most important things: his wife, his child, and his clothing line. Oh, sorry mom and daddy West, but fuck you. Also, fans? Fuck you, too. Keep buying this self-centered prick's albums and keep this gay fish relevant. Oh. That's right. You didn't like that brilliant South Park episode, Fish Sticks, because it picked on poor wittle Kayne. I would be thinking that holier than thou people like you wouldn't pay attention to plebeians picking on you. Guess your little shit-fits prove that you're actually insecure.

I feel sorry for his kid, whatever it is, boy or girl, I don't know. I don't care enough about Kayne to even know the littlest about him. But I feel sorry for his kid, because this dickhead is going to teach him that he's better than everybody. Someone wins an award at school that's not him? Better go up there and interrupt! I can see him telling his kid to interrupt a Special Olympics awards ceremony, because his son was not handed an award.

Kayne West is the scum of music. People may not like Lady Gaga (I don't), Marilyn Manson, what have you, but at least they don't whine when they don't win. Especially Manson. When's the last time that dude won anything? At least they don't make a big fucking deal just because they didn't get their own way, like poor wittle Kayne.

I honestly don't know why reading that article made me so pissed off to write a blog about it. I try to tell myself, scum like Kayne wants attention. It's like what Corey Taylor says (you may not know him, Kayne. He's an ACTUAL artist unlike you), you don't want the crowd silent. You want them to respond, whether it's positively or negatively. Because even if it's negative, you're still getting attention. Something like that. Probably not the exact words, but good enough. I try to tell myself to ignore people who don't deserve attention. Kayne don't.

But the biggest question and one I'd actually like to know (on any other occasion I wouldn't care), but what does Beyonce think of Kayne's actions? Sure. Jay-Z and her thought Kayne was pulling a fast one. You can see it in their face. The shock that Kayne may actually have a sense of humor and can joke around. NOPE! Same old ignorant, arrogant Kayne fuckingbaby West.

But people hating on Kayne is like beating on a dead horse now. It doesn't matter. Until the foolish people who listen to him stop listening to him, he's here to stay. But one last thing: Kayne, as a self-proclaimed artist, should respect all forms of music. Not just his own or his own people, but all kinds. I bet he didn't even listen to Beck's album. I also think because he's been so irrelevant lately (irrelevant enough that not even I, a man who STAYS under a rock for pop culture, hasn't heard a peep from him lately) that he just wants the spotlight back again. Even if it does make him look like a dick head. Same old Kayne!
