Two Articles: What is an EVP?/What is Hypnagogia by Jennifer Scelsi

What is an EVP?
By Jennifer Scelsi in CSI: Paranormal'

EVP stands for electric voice phenomenon. One of the first experimenters with electronic voice phenomena was Thomas Edison. He spent the last years of his life experimenting with the recordings of ghosts.

Because it is a common belief in the paranormal world that ghosts are made up of energy and magnetism, the same things used when recording audio into a tape recorder, it makes perfect sense that a ghost could communicate with the living using a tape recorder.

Normally an EVP will be one or two words long and in some cases or short sentences.

The phenomenon is fascinating, and new devices are being invented all the time to try to improve the communication abilities of a spirit to the living.

By Jennifer Scelsi in CSI: Paranormal "One Paranormal

The word describes the period of time your body is just about to fall asleep. Many people report bizarre experiences during this time.

Some people have reported the feeling of being held down on their bed unable to breathe or move, as though there is a strong pressure on their chest.

It's also been reported by certain people that they've heard footsteps or someone talking to them, had the feeling of floating, or saw lights, shadows, or people in their room.
