The Paranormal Guide Presents: Paranormal Questions - Do Ghosts Have Hemorrhoids? (SS Note: Yes. They're Serious.)
Do Ghosts have Haemorrhoids?
Paranormal Questions
If you haven’t been wondering, perhaps you should! Not only is it a valid question, but you could be guilty of causing this most horrible discomfort upon the departed!
Have you ever seen people hunched around a K2 meter practically asking it questions? Ok, that’s fine. But have you seen people, or even been guilty yourself, of asking a ghost to “make the lights move?”
Really? How in the world will they do that?
Let’s think about this in another way… I’m (relatively) able-bodied. If someone puts a K2 meter in front of me and asks me to “make it light up” (without touching it or using another electronic device) I’m really sh*t out of luck. Try as I may, I just can’t ‘will’ it to light up. In fact, I could push and strain myself for a year, but it still won’t happen.
Now, let’s assume that ‘ghosts’ in the traditional sense are real. They are a disembodied entity, wondering around for whatever reason. And let’s assume they want to communicate.
It is pretty presumptuous to think that they have the same level of consciousness that we (the living) do. Even we have different states or levels of consciousness (thanks tequila). Wouldn’t it be likely that ghosts have a state of semi-consciousness that makes manipulation of electronic devices a little challenging? (Though I have still been able to type 80085 on a calculator when intoxicated – go me!)
Many of these ghosts that people are trying to contact have also been dead quite some time. Often they have been dead well before electronics were starting to kick around. Why in the world are we assuming that they know what a K2 meter or other electronic device is? One could consider that they may not even see the device in front of us. We often see only what is expected - Did you miss that moonwalking gorilla too?
And if we ignore the previous points, we’re still left with this simple question:
If we, the living, cannot force a K2 to light up by nothing more than by mentally willing it to do so, then how in the world can the dead do it?
I can just imagine these poor souls standing near us, straining to the point of popping their ghostly bowels just trying to light up a K2 meter to impress us.
Perhaps EMF changes are a consequence of their presence and activity, and not something specifically willed. Just as we, by the act of living, create a level of electricity ourselves. This explanation does explain why some people may seem to get a response.
Of course, would love your comments below.
